Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-06-04. This policy explains what WarrantyWise collects, why, and the choices you have. It's written in plain language; it isn't legal advice.

The short version

We collect the minimum needed to run the service: your email (to sign in and send reminders) and the product details you choose to add. Your item list and receipts are private to your account. We don't sell your personal data, and we don't share your item list with advertisers.

What we collect

How we use it

We do not use the contents of your item list to target advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information.

Who can see your data

Your items and receipts are private to your account, protected by per-user access controls. We use trusted infrastructure providers to operate the service — for example, a hosting/database provider (Supabase) to store your data and an email provider (Resend) to deliver reminder emails. They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms, and only to provide these services.

Affiliate links

Some links on our public pages are affiliate links. Clicking them may share standard click information (like that a click came from our site) with the destination retailer or network — this is how affiliate tracking works. See our affiliate disclosure for details. This is separate from your private account data.

Your choices and rights

Data retention & security

We keep your data while your account is active. We rely on reputable providers and standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect it. No online service can promise perfect security, but we work to keep your information safe.

Children

WarrantyWise is intended for adults and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We'll change the "last updated" date above when we do.
